Can you imagine walking down the cereal aisle, or any aisle, in a supermarket and the packaging patterns were all the same, with exception of the brand name on the box and decide what you want to buy?

Probably note, which is why copy is so important for food manufacturers

Take Kellogg;s for instance.

Kellogg’s has recently updated its cereal packaging with copy on the boxes to indicate a  unique selling proposition, also known in the advertising industry as a U.S.P., a term created by the Foote, Cone & Belding advertising agency with the theory that consumers can remember one benefit of a product or service while blocking out all of the other features and benefits.
