After amazon.com bought Whole Foods I was wondering what other companies they could add to their collection of supermarkets.
I thought about The Freah Market.
Their mini supermarkets cater to the affluent although they now accept EBT.
They have those little coffee cups for sipping to slow down your pace and fill up your caets.
TFM may survive as as niche supermarket, but they face stiff competition. Publix is carrying similar products at a lower price. And enter Whole Foods as another competitor and that spells falling revenue and smaller profits.
I would not be surprised if amazon buys them too.
