Chili’s restaurant offering Tex Mex cuisine sells frozen food entrees in your local supermarket.  And when they are on sale they sell quite well.

The company was founded by Larry Lavine in Texas in 1975 and is currently owned and operated by Brinker International.

Recently they have changed their packaging. With bigger letters and more red on their package they are trying to stand out and reinforce their brand in my opinion. The packaging change is subtle, but if you are paying attention you’ll notice it.

For example their brand name and the green pepper are larger, — see the right hand side of the picture. Also the tag indicating the flavor is bold has changed from a small black circle to a circle filled with green.

The box has more red and less green trim and I think the package is glossier. This gives the box more of an eye appeal.
