Amazon Go has launched and is making a ruckus in terms of how people will buy groceries.

The customer simply picks up the items and walks out. I’m assuming an RFID is implanted in the packaging which will add up the purchases and charge the customers account.

That is disruptive, — however I think there will be more disruptions in the way supermarkets provide a shopping experience. Maybe Publix or The Fresh Market or Aldi’s or Whole Foods can make a ruckus in the competitive industry, — and I hope they do.

Facebook will be delivering food. Instacart helps deliver groceries, as does Google and Amazon, along with Walmart.

Technology is making it easier for disruption; thus it is this blog that will think of ways to improve the performance of supermarkets.

And maybe think of ways to disrupt.
