Some would say it was just a breeze, but the potential impact of Hurricane Matthew was taken seriously in the Southeast part of the USA. Florida, Georgia and South Carolina were bracing for a Category 4 hurricane with winds reaching up to 140mph.

Thankfully most of these states were spared devastation.

Thanks in part to the supermarkets in that region. They provided the bottled water, canned goods, bread, ice, milk, etc…everything that is associated getting ready for a storm.

Yes, they were ready. Ready to serve a large population with essential necessities. The stock clerks and cashiers were putting in the extra time and they should be thanked for their service.

Thanks again supermarkets. It proves the fact that you will always be indispensable to the communities you serve.
