It is too bad that we are given orders and we must adhere to them at work when we should be asked in what ways we can innovate. And, here’s the key, if you have an idea, just run it up the flagpole and see if it works at your supermarket or place where you are employed.

The irony is that we reward workers who are compliant, instead of genuinely asking them to innovate and then reward them with that innovation. The beauty about being a stock clerk is that you simultaneously can work and think. Thinking and sitting in front of your desk at your cubicle is not allowed, — and that’s a shame.

Supervisors, ask your team what’s one their mind. Let workers innovate and not be dulled down.
